DESCRIPTION:
French cast brass Father Time figural 8 day mantel clock, c1880.
CONDITION:
highly detailed and bold heavy castings with winged bearded figure, scythe, hourglass, lion head feet, etc. in old mellow patina. Porcelain dial, with visible jeweled escapement, has some small stains and hairlines. Unstamped round movement, with count wheel half hour striking, needs cleaning and pendulum. 17" tall.
